Most people may be aware of the need to communicate effectively through data, but feel they lack the technical skills. It is rare for anyone to be proficient in data visualization.
While technology has increased the accessibility and usefulness of data processing tools, there remains a black hole in effective implementation. Default tool platforms and generic practices tend to leave data, and the stories we want to tell, woefully inadequate.
Being able to visualize and tell stories through data is key to turning data into actionable information that leads to better decisions.
